Welcome to my home!

My husband and I moved into our house about 5 years ago; I can't believe how time flies! The first year, I was finishing my interior design degree and planning our wedding...so there is a pretty good excuse for the late start.

One great rule to follow when moving into a new home is: live in your home for a good year before making solid plans to remodel. That way you can understand how you use the spaces and how you want each space to function for you.

I had a few ideas right out of the gate on what I thought I wanted our house to be remodeled and updated as. And I have changed my mind a time or two...or three since then.

In the next year or so, I will be sharing my home, room by remodel room with you and my thoughts behind my design. Stay tuned!
